Almost thirty years ago someone had one of those ideas that make a real difference.
That person was Peter Worden and the thought he had was there must be a better way for companies in the brewing industry to utilise key equipment such as pumps and coolers.
Rather than simply replacing them with new when their efficiency dropped wouldn’t it be better to refurbish them? That would surely be less wasteful and certainly more cost effective.
Nearly three decades later that still proves to be the case and Peter’s innovation has resulted in an organisation with two specialist divisions, over forty staff and a growing client base.
Environmental concerns relating to pumps and coolers are at the very heart of K·Cooler’s activities, as recycling and refurbishment are two of the company’s foundation stones.
